New ventures in 2020

Rebecca Spooner at Llanthony Abbey

After nine years at Peak, we will be saying a fond farewell to our Creative Director, Rebecca Spooner in March.

Although we will miss her greatly, we’re delighted that she’ll have the opportunity to apply her talents and skills in her new role as Curator, South Wales with the National Trust, supporting property teams across South Wales in all aspects of curatorship.

Rebecca leaves Peak with a vibrant artistic programme, including our main project, ‘Hinterlands Wales’, in partnership with the Canal & River Trust. We will continue to work with artists and young people to build on this inspiring legacy and follow her future career with huge pride.

‘It has been a great pleasure to contribute to Peak’s success over the past nine years. I wish the artists, staff and trustees at Peak a productive year ahead and I have no doubt this dynamic and inspiring organisation will continue to evolve from strength to strength.’

– Rebecca Spooner

Rebecca will start her new role on 23rd March, based in Tredegar House, Newport.

Diolch a hwyl fawr Rebecca!
