Peak Collective

Rescheduled Endarken

Thursday 5th July, 7:30pm – 9pm (supper) & 9pm – 10pm (walk)

A group expedition in the Black Mountains moving through dusk and into the night time.

Through collaborative exercises and choreographies we’ll gradually sensitise to and experience darkness together. Endarken asks how performance might reveal the darkness as an ecological resource, available to all, yet increasingly under threat.

Movement Artist, Simon Whitehead works from both his base in the Teifi Valley in rural west Wales and internationally. Endarken is a research and development project supported by the Arts Council of Wales.

+ Peak Collective: ‘bring & share’ supper with an artist talk with Simon at 7:30pm before the walk.

The walk starts from Peak, The Old School, Brecon Road, Crickhowell, Powys, NP8 1DG.

Children are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear suitable outdoor shoes and clothing.

FREE to attend.

Suggested donation: £3 per person
